Student Life: What to Do During the First Days in College.

Life of every student is always full of negative and positive sides and no matter, if it is the first day at college or the last one. However, the first steps are always the most memorable, that is why all the mistakes those were made during the first days will be always remembered as the most awful and unpleasant moments. But, it does not really mean that not to make a mistake you are to do nothing. You are to make yourself known in a college, everyone could recognize you. It means that you are to be ready for mistakes as well as you are to do everything to avoid them if possible. There are some tips those can be useful for you while your first steps as a college student.

What are you to do before the first classes?

- Walk around the territory of college you could understand, where the main buildings are situated; besides it is useful for you to know about places for break, and about places, where you can ask for help, if necessary.

- Take with you just the most important and necessary things, as it is actually impossible to be ready for everything at once. That is why, you would better not to over pack.

- Meet as many students as possible. Remember that the first days are time, when freshmen are searching for new acquaintances. That is why your aim is to befriend with those of them who has the same interests with you.

- Consult some experienced students, as they are eager to help those, who is new and has no experience of college life. They may give you some examples from their own experiences. Discuss your problems with them, but do not forget about those students, who like tricks.

What is it better to do during your classes?

- Remember the schedule and let it be always at hand, as to remember all the rules is impossible. That is why it is better to have a plan.

- Do not miss classes from the first days.
